Join EARN on Wednesday, February 16, 2022 from 2-3 p.m. ET for the webinar “Expanding Your Talent Pool: Disability Inclusion in Advanced Manufacturing.” Learn how advanced manufacturing companies can leverage the talents of workers with disabilities to improve productivity, reduce turnover and experience a greater return on investment.

Advanced manufacturing is the creation of components for cutting-edge technologies, energy systems and vehicles, including solar panels and electric cars. This growth industry needs  skilled workers to power its expansion. With the right training and support, people with disabilities can be a key talent pool. Partnering with community-based organizations enables manufacturing companies to tap into this pipeline of qualified candidates.

Participants will learn about an innovative partnership between FALA Technologies and the Resource Center for Accessible Living (RCAL) in New York’s Hudson Valley. Speakers Frank S. Falatyn, President of FALA Technologies, and Hillary Nichols, RCAL’s Supervisor of Employment Services, will share how employers can benefit from the skills and talents of workers with disabilities, as well as:

  • The benefits of investing in pre-employment training and community partnerships to expand your talent pipeline of people with disabilities;
  • How and why employees with disabilities, including those with autism and other neurodiverse conditions, thrive at advanced manufacturing companies and other STEM-related industries; and
  • Strategies for working with community organizations to develop industry-driven training for workers with disabilities in advanced manufacturing.

Participation is free, but space is limited. Register today to save your spot!
