A message from the NILG Chair

Headshot of Anthony Kaylin - Chair of Midwest RegionThe National Industry Liaison Group (NILG) is a unique consortium of professionals consisting of federal contractors and subcontractors in partnership with regulatory agencies, working toward achieving equal employment opportunities for all. From our inception, the focus on bridging the gap between federal contractors and the regulatory agencies in shaping effective and productive affirmative action and equal employment opportunity regulations has been the key in positioning the NILG to be a true partnership-based organization. Since launching a working group of employers and representatives from the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) in the early 1980’s, the NILG has expanded its partnerships by forging dynamic, multi-agency relationships with the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC), Office of Disability Employment Policy (ODEP), Veterans’ Employment & Training Service (VETS) and Disability:IN. The industry and community are everchanging these days with new foundations, approaches and tools, and challenges to stay in compliance. As an organization, the NILG strives to listen, support, disseminate and advocate as our members navigate these changing times and engage their leadership and workforce in employment compliance. We live in interesting times.
