The Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs recently announced proposed changes to the Scheduling Letter & Itemized Listing used to initiate compliance evaluations of federal contractors and has invited comments on the proposal.  The National Industry Liaison Group is preparing a comment and seeks information from contractors regarding the OFCCP’s estimates of the burden of these changes.

Comments must be submitted by January 20, 2023, and the NILG, therefore, requests your feedback no later than January 6, 2023.  We encourage you to review the OFCCP’s proposed changes (linked above) prior to responding to ensure that you have a complete understanding of the information to be sought and the implications for your organization.  In fact, we recommend that you have the information available as you work through the survey questions.

The survey includes 22 questions, and we estimate that responding will take at least 15-30 minutes.  In addition to the multiple-choice answers, you have the ability to provide more specific feedback to each question, and we encourage you to do so.
