Position Summary: NextGen Coordinator is responsible for coordinating all program functions for the NextGen initiatives, events, webinars, and conference activities. The role includes administrative strengths, solid leadership, and knowledge in handling large volume programs for students with disabilities.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Matchmaking Events – the NextGen Coordinator is actively involved in coordinating the process of matching NextGen talent with corporate partners. Registrations Review Corporate Partner registrations and ensure regular verbal and written communication is maintained. Matching for Mentorship Create spreadsheets and process information as needed to match NextGen Leaders to appropriate mentors, following prescribed guidelines. Maintain and support all matches throughout the six-month mentoring program. Configure any rematches, as needed. Mentorship Program Participate in annual NextGen Leader selection for the current year cohort, reviewing applications throughout the various stages of the process. Coordinate the review process with the Disability:IN Talent Acquisition committee Coordinate the Mentor applications approval process with the Corporate Relations team. Disability:IN Conference Assist in coordinating the NextGen program at the Disability:IN annual conference and support accommodation needs of the NextGen Leaders in collaboration with the NextGen Sr. Program Manager. (i.e., iLab, Matchmaking, Educational Sessions, Individual Interviews, Networking opportunities, Plenaries) Participate in all efforts leading up to and in preparation for the annual Disability:IN Conference. See the above list of events. Alumni and Advisory Council Attend and coordinate meetings as directed by the NextGen Sr. Program Manager Job Posting Newsletter Collect and assimilate information for the weekly NextGen job posting newsletter Coordinate design and distribution with the Communications team Resume Database Management Collect NextGen resumes for the database and coordinate with the database consultant. Track NextGen Outcomes Work alongside NextGen Sr. Program Manager to develop and track program metrics. NextGen and Alumni Communication Maintain email, text, and phone communications with all participants in the program and be available to answer questions on a timely basis. Program Educational Webinars Coordinate and attend all NextGen webinars. Company Salesforce Data Responsible for NGL data uploads to Disability:IN Salesforce program for internal data tracking Corporate Partner Relations Connect with and support the needs of corporate partners connected to/interested in NextGen Leaders. Other duties and expectations of the role: Reply to all emails timely, within 24 hours, especially to colleagues and corporate partners Manage communication with Resume Database Administrator. Review upload and confirm uploads are legitimate NextGen Leaders/alumni. Work with other internal programs to uphold the integrity of Resume Database. Attend meetings for NextGen Team, as required, along with other internal Disability:IN program meeting requests. Establish regular meeting time (weekly) with Senior Program Manager. Work Schedule, Location, and Travel Requirements Disability:IN is a fully remote organization; employees are expected to operate independently from a home office. May require some domestic travel 2-3 times a year for 3-5 days at a time. This role my cause for some occasional night and weekend work may be required. Education and Experience: Bachelor’s degree is required. At least two-five years of progressive experience working with high-volume programs, problem-solving, and implementing strategies focusing on disability and cross-cultural resource efforts in an organization with diverse constituencies. A strong focus on accessibility, job placement, career development, and resume writing is a plus. Salary and Benefits: Starting salary commensurate with experience.
