LOS ANGELES — On Sept. 13, 2022, the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) filed a lawsuit in federal court in Los Angeles against the commercial laundry facility Radiant Services Corp. for discouraging and denying equal job opportunities to Black, Asian and white workers by failing to recruit, hire or staff its workforce with non-Hispanic workers. The lawsuit further charges that Radiant denied equal job opportunities based on sex by seeking male or female workers only for specific positions. If proven, these employment practices would violate federal civil rights laws.
