With more than 30 years experience in EEO/affirmative action and compliance areas, Lynette Chappell-Williams is responsible for developing and implementing an organizational diversity/inclusion strategy. Ms. Chappell-Williams has been recognized for her work in diversity/inclusion and work/life: in 2006 by Human Resource Executive as an HR Rising Star/Diversity Champion, in 2008 by the Cornell University Employee Assembly for promoting work/life for the workforce, in June 2011 as one of Work and Families Institute’s Work Life Legacy Award recipients, and in 2013, Ms. Chappell-Williams was named a Woman Worth Watching by the Profiles in Diversity Journal. Ms. Chappell-Williams obtained her law degree from The Ohio State University School of Law in Columbus, Ohio, her bachelor’s degree from James Madison University in Harrisonburg, Virginia, and a diversity management certificate from Cornell University ILR. Lynette currently serves on the NILG Board as a representative for the Mid-Atlantic Region.
For the past ten years, Paul has been Verizon Corporation’s Affirmative Action program leader, responding to over 200 OFCCP desk audits and working with HR, IT and company business leaders to design and implement compliant, “audit ready” business practices. Prior to moving into the world of contractor compliance, Paul had both private practice and in-house legal experience. In addition, for a number of years Paul lead Talent Acquisition and EEO/Employee Relations investigation, defense and dispute resolution teams for Verizon. Paul currently serves on the NILG Board as a representative for the Northeast Region.
