Paul McGovern, NILG Chair
The National Industry Liaison Group (NILG) is a unique consortium of professionals consisting of federal contractors and subcontractors in partnership with regulatory agencies, working toward achieving equal employment opportunities for all. From our inception, the focus on bridging the gap between federal contractors and the regulatory agencies in shaping effective and productive affirmative action and equal employment opportunity regulations has been the key in positioning the NILG to be a true partnership-based organization. Since launching a working group of employer and representatives from the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) in the early 1980’s, the NILG has expanded its partnerships by forging dynamic multi-agency relationships with the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC), other agencies within the U.S. Department of Labor, and non-profit organizations with similar objectives. Now, the Industry Liaison Group community is a vibrant and diverse microcosm of today’s evolving workforce. We listen, support and lead each other by reaching out, sharing knowledge and challenging one another. Although we have accomplished much together, we still have a long way to go and much to achieve to truly reach equal employment opportunities for all. Ever evolving workforce dynamics make this work that much more interesting and challenging at the same time. As the old saying goes, we are in this together! Let’s enjoy the ride and support each other for the betterment of the tomorrow’s workforce! Thank you for visiting our website; we hope you find this website to be a valuable resource. The National Industry Liaison Group is committed to. . . Working Together Towards Equality In The Workplace!
